Everybody loves a parade.......

This morning the sun was shining and the temp was 67 degrees, slight breeze, a great day to watch a parade. The annual Lincoln Memorial Day parade began at 11:am. John and I decided to avoid the excessive traffic and would go down Lonsdale to Higginson to Industrial to Walker and meet the parade as it headed and would end at Dow's Square in front of the Saylesville fire Department. This was a wise choice we arrived at 11:25 and the parade had not gone pass yet. Parade began at 11 a.m. from Smithfield Avenue at Pawtucket city line to Dow’s Square on Walker Street. The theme is “Honor Our Troops.”

We stood in front of a lemonade truck and had the sun to our backs, great for taking my photos and providing shade for Buddy.

I love parades. I especially liked the old classic car pics. John will like that too! Buddy looked like he enjoyed the show!
